"I have had the pleasure of volunteering with Sue on the Board of Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre for four years. We worked together on a number of initiatives ranging from Certification to Strategic Planning.

What set Sue apart was her ability to listen and table recommendations that were built upon the diverse perspectives of her fellow Board members.

She was a vocal advocate for doing what best served the needs of the Mississauga community and wasn't afraid to challenge her fellow Board members in a respectful manner. She took her duties as a Board member seriously and was always well prepared and well informed on the issues being tabled at the meeting.

Since Sue completed her maximum term allowed ( 9 years), we have stayed in touch and I am always impressed at the energy she puts forward to ensure that the children of Peel, families and community members, are well served and have the best representation she can provide."
